Craftsmanship as a holistic concept: Reding-Langen has established itself in Luxembourg as a 'bathroom and heating designer' – including home electrics
Bathroom and heating design is how Reding-Langen S.à.r.l. positions itself. What might sound like a concept is also a reality for the experts, who have been based in Grevenmacher for 20 years now. The fifth-generation family business focuses on the bigger picture, offering comprehensive solutions. This applies to both creating comfortable bathrooms and high-performance heating systems, and since 2014, pioneering home electrics as well.

Managing Director Nico Langen believes that the reason behind this holistic approach lies in the nature of the products: “A bathroom, as well as a heating system, isn’t something you buy annually. They are long-term investments, and every single component has to meet our customers’ high quality standards, ensuring that everything fits together perfectly.”

From the first consultation on: comprehensive customer support
To ensure both, Nico Langen and his team focus on providing full support, from the initial consultation to ongoing service. “We want to understand our customers. Before we prepare a quote for a bathroom, for example, we not only look at the technical conditions on-site, but also collaborate with the customer to determine what is important to them and how they envision the ideal service.”
The next step is a consultation in the showroom in Grevenmacher and the creation of a 3D plan. The quotation is then prepared and presented at a second appointment in the showroom – partly physical and tangible, partly presented virtually. With this approach, the Reding-Langen team consistently adheres to a central guiding principle, which Nico Langen summarises as follows: “Dream bathrooms don’t come from creation, but from understanding. The greatest compliment, in any language, is speechlessness.”

Fifth generation: advanced solutions for occupied homes
To inspire speechlessness, today’s creativity and future-oriented technology blend with expertise rooted in over 125 years of sanitary trade tradition, shaping each dream bathroom. The company was founded in 1897. Over the years and through the generations, the Langen family built an excellent reputation in and around Trier – before Nico Langen ventured across the Moselle to Grevenmacher in 2005.
“At the time, we had the opportunity to take over the established company Reding and its customer base. It was an ideal fit for us in every way, as our approach aligns perfectly with the demand in Luxembourg. The people here are down-to-earth and focus on sensible solutions that can also be sophisticated. And that is exactly in line with our philosophy.” Whether planning a completely new bathroom or renovating an existing one, continues Nico Langen: “Our specialty is occupied homes, mainly detached and semi-detached houses—always with a personal touch and tailored advice.

“Internationally inspired and grounded: ‘Made in Luxembourg’ by conviction
Word of this specialty has spread in recent years. In the meantime, Reding-Langen has built a growing, loyal customer base beyond the Moselle region – which was one of the reasons for Nico Langen to apply for the ‘Made in Luxembourg’ label: “We feel at home here because the Grand Duchy is a bit like us. The people are internationally inspired in every aspect, yet very grounded. For us, this results in offering tailored services to local needs, combining the best of both worlds.”
Our service offer is based on high-quality products that Langen-Reding procures from a purchasing association based in southwestern Germany. These products are professionally installed by qualified specialists who regularly take part in specific trainings and collaborate with other local companies if required. Nico Langen: “We are experts specialised in bathrooms, heating and electrical systems. This allows us to create a very cozy and intelligent future in occupied homes. If additional expertise is required, we collaborate with trusted partners. Customers can always rely on us to coordinate everything and be sure that the quality standard of the ‘Made in Luxembourg’ label is always guaranteed.”
